Notes

The one that started it all, the original Gundam RX-78, piloted by 16 year-old Amuro Ray. The show went on air in the late 70's and made history.

This guy is now 5000+ polys without weapons, very light.

Although RX-78 has more than a handful of variations, I tried to stick with the old school design, the very first one which appeared on the first Gundam TV series in the 70's। Have had to make a few adjustments and compromises (mostly in joints) in preparation for animation.

Intro

The Gundam is one of three prototype mobile suits secretly developed by the embattled Earth Federation. After suffering tremendous losses to Zeon's mobile suits earlier in the war, the Federation set out to create its own, using the very latest advanced technology. The Gundam is the most successful of these prototypes, a close-combat mobile suit protected by tough Luna Titanium armor, and armed with both lethal beam sabers and a devastating beam rifle as powerful as a battleship cannon. It's also equipped with an advanced computer which learns from its pilot, ultimately enabling it to operate the Gundam automatically. In the hands of accidental pilot Amuro Ray, this one prototype mobile suit proves to be the equal of any Zeon weapon.

MK II

Notes

MK II is one of my favorites, out of all the Gundams it's design comes across as being muscular yet agile, a very cool machine. i have modeled the whole thing but am just starting on the texturing process which i belive will take a while before it's good enough to be published.

Wow, have I really put this off this long? it's been about a year since I finished modeling the head...where did time go?

Anyway I just finished modeling the rest of the body and have started texturing which is more fun because I feel that at this stage the model is starting to come to life and become interesting. I have pretty much finished modeling all of my favorite MS's with the exception of GP-03, Z and ZZ Gundam.

Intro

This prototype mobile suit was developed by the Titans at the Gryps space colony. Based on the legendary RX-78 Gundam, the Mk.II inherits its predecessor's high performance and remarkable potential, although it suffers from a few lingering design flaws - notably, its obsolete armor materials. On the other hand, the Mk.II also introduces the radical new "movable frame" design concept, giving it superb maneuverability. All three prototype units are captured by the AEUG resistance group during their raid on the Titans' headquarters. The rebels keep one in service, replacing its sinister "Titans colors" with a more heroic white and blue scheme, and eagerly dissect the other two in order to learn their technological secrets.

Gundam F-91

I decided to start where my interests lie, because after all, that is where my ultimate drive is. Recently I have been drawn to a few computer 3D software that pretty much lets you create anything you can imagine and best of all, give it life when you animate it. I thought," this is really cool!"

I have always been a big fan of Gundam, and if you are 30+ who still think you are a kid, you know what Gundam is. I have started with 3 of my favorite Gundams of them all, F-91, GP-02 and Strike. This is hardly my creation, I am just trying to bring to life some of my favorite robots.

These robots are being made with a few guide-lines I have set for myself. First of all they have to be light enough to be animated with ease. Secondly I have to try and make them as non-toyish as possible given the first objective.

Intro

This prototype machine, created by the military research institute SNRI, is the latest product of the Federation Forces' miniaturized mobile suit development program. The F91's capabilities exceed those of any contemporary mobile suit, but its full potential can only be expressed with a Newtype pilot at the controls. In its high-performance mode, the F91's face mask opens to help cool the bio-computer installed in its head, ventilator fins are deployed from its shoulders, and it can dissipate excess heat via the Metal Peel-off Effect. Thanks to its high generator output the F91 can drive multiple beam weapons, including a beam rifle, a beam shield, and a pair of powerful Variable-Speed Beam Rifle (VSBR) units.
